A CURATED MEMBERSHIP & EXPERIENCE
Project 1490 is an invitation-only membership for this generation of female leaders and the next who are open to new experiences and interested in building a community of true support for others. Through a combination of live and virtual events, members have opportunities to try new things that build their arsenal of skills—growing their confidence and clarity. We expand both the grit and the grace that all women have through unique experiences simply not available elsewhere. Through these shared experiences, bonds are formed, friendships are made, and careers are grown.

Alongside the activities, real discussions on leadership, career challenges and opportunities take place. Through peer-advisory, workshops, and fireside chats; we expand our knowledge, solutions and ideas together so that we all rise faster.

RETREATS
The cornerstone of Project 1490, retreats will immerse you in nature and offer activities you may not have had a chance to do before. 50% unique activities and 50% leadership content—you'll leave a retreat having fed all sides of yourself. Held in unique locations, retreats are designed to invite you out of your comfort zones in a supportive environment, fostering personal growth and resilience. Members receive a discount off all retreats and access to exclusive members-only events.

MONTHLY INTRODUCTIONS
To expand members' networks beyond the in-person events and retreats, Project 1490 coordinates regular monthly introductions between members. Meeting women who are working in completely different industries or in similar roles, helps to broaden a members' mind and network for all kinds of new opportunities and collaborations.

EXCURSIONS & EVENTS
What have you always wished you could do but haven't yet? Play poker? Learn self defense? Know how to tie the right knot in any situation or order the right wine? Between retreats, there are a wide-range of smaller events to broaden horizons and check things off the bucket list to generally build on your badassery. We're ditching the old way of stuffy networking and creating authentically fun experiences that enhance your skills, confidence, and network.

ONLINE COMMUNITY
To keep you connected between events, all members are invited to join Project 1490's online community. Whether you need some quick advice, want to find someone to go explore with, or need to find someone to connect you with a customer or job, there is a network at the ready to support you. This is also where we'll celebrate wins and champion each other to keep striving on the daily.

PROJECT 1490 ACTIVITIES
Project 1490 is designed to include nearly any skill or activity that you'd like to learn how to do. It is equally "badass" to learn to shoot a bow as it is to knit, if you've never done it. These are examples of the kinds of things you might do at a Project 1490 event, but members are encouraged to say what they'd most want to try (and also what they might teach!). Maybe there's something you've always wanted to learn or something you've been afraid to do? Project 1490 will do the work to curate that experience for members, and you'll have a posse of friends to join or support you.

That's me, Sarah Dale, the founder of Project 1490 (quite a few years ago). I spent 7 years in Montana learning all sorts of things I never thought I would—from bow-hunting to building a house. When I moved back to NYC, those experiences helped me beyond measure in my career, which took me all the way to the C-Suite. Now, I'm hoping to give that experience to other professional women to help them on their own paths.

DAY OF BADASSERY
DOB'S are day-to-evening events where you'll experience both the grace and grit of yourself. Maybe you'll take some target practice with recurve and compound bows, jump start a car, build a campfire or herd some chickens! And, when the activities are done, we'll dress (UP!) for dinner and join us in a beautiful glamping lounge tent for a rich, leadership-focused discussion. The evening commences with a three-course, five-star meal in a gorgeous dining tent served by a private chef. We'll share wine and stories under the stars and you'll leave with new friends, new ideas, and totally filled up!

Project 1490 welcomes all who identify as female and have at least 10 years of corporate experience; in manager to C-level roles; in any industry in the US. Refunds for non-member events are given in full with 14 day written notice of cancellation. Memberships are contracted for one year, renew automatically, and can be canceled with 30 days notice prior to the end of the membership term. No refunds are given for annual memberships.
